Strategic Advisory Council

Independent advisors who meet every month to review our direction — and to keep market, product and commercial decisions under challenge as we scale ROMS.

Monthly cadence

Once a month, the direction is tested

The council meets once a month. Management presents what changed, what we intend next, and where we are exposed. Advisors test that story against the market, the product, and the numbers — then we leave with a clear account of direction for the month ahead.

What this is — and is not

The council advises and holds the team to a monthly account. It does not run day-to-day operations, and it is not a legal board of directors. Execution stays with the founder and team. The value for a backer is the rhythm: strategy is reviewed on a fixed cadence by people who are not writing the code.

The work of the council

Market, product, and the questions that keep us honest

An advisory council exists to review, advise and challenge — not to manage the week. This is the standing agenda.

Strategic direction

Is the company still pointed at the right problem? Advisors review growth choices, sequencing, and whether we are stretching into work that distracts from ROMS.

Market

Where demand is real, how we should be positioned, and which industries or regions are next — or not yet. Challenge, not cheerleading.

Product

What to ship, park, or refuse. Advisors pressure-test the roadmap against what sites actually need and what a buyer will pay for.

Commercial discipline

Pricing, spend, and whether the books stay investor-ready. Growth that cannot be explained is not treated as progress.

Independent challenge

Questions a founder cannot usefully ask themselves. Assumptions are tested in the room, not after a decision has already been sold.

Risk and readiness

Delivery, market, and operating risks are named early. The point is fewer surprises for the company — and for anyone putting capital behind it.
